We'll try to find things to occupy ourselves. Elisey enjoys being forts from furniture and blankets, which is great, except when it inevitably turns into an exercise in control. He also likes to draw and color and often requests me to help him draw something, only its not easy with my very limited pidgin Bulgarian. With the aid of his hints and a couple of dictionaries (not easy since some sounds he mispronounces) I found out that "oblak" is "cloud" and "durzho" is "tree" and "elen" is "deer."
Dimcho likes to play at serving tea and coffee and we bought the boys a little tea set. He sometimes sits down with blocks, or likes to watch movies on his tablet. Like his brother, he also like to pretend to talk on a cell phone--they now have little play phones although in a pinch they pretend a block is a phone.
Otherwise I sometimes play "bear" ("mechka" in Bulgarian) chasing the boys, which elicits much screaming laughter. Last night we played a CD of Bulgarian children's songs. This one was chosen by Dimcho, so naturally Elisey, even though he likes this CD, sulked. Donna and I responded by dancing to the music in quite a silly fashion, and Elisey laughed and smiled despite himself in between sulks.
